- There were some lovely crisp Windsor apples in our Riverford box this week, and as the heating needs to come on most days now, I’m pretty sure it’s time to make these apple pancakes.
- Barley risotto – I simplified this Ottolenghi recipe to make a tomato barley risotto this week (in the Thermomix), which was delicious with sausages.
- I made a smaller version of the Rosie Ramsden plum cake on the cover of September’s delicious magazine – excellent Sunday lunch pud. Might add some ground almonds next time.
